| Keith Dressel Realty has been serving the real estate needs of Michigan residents since 1938. Currently celebrating their 67th year of operation, the professional staff at KDR specialize in residential, vacation, commercial, and small business real estate.
The business was originally started by Keith Dressel, who soon began expanding his company into several neighboring communities. In the early 1970s, there were seven offices successfully operating in the northern Michigan area. Over the years, KDR has consolidated into one central office located in Gaylord. Although advances in technology would allow effective real estate sales statewide, the professional staff at KDR focuses primarily on serving their hometown community. KDR's experienced staff attributes much of their successes to being familiar with, and fond of, the community they are serving. They believe that healthy competition is always positive, and work hard to constantly improve their skills to move ahead in the highly competitive real estate business. An important goal KDR is currently working toward is familiarizing the staff with 1031 exchanges and encouraging them to concentrate more on who they represent when in the real estate business. The staff is highly trained and understands the phrase "fiduciary responsibility". Another important concept embraced by the professionals at KDR is that change is unavoidable. Since the business has been operating for such a long time span, the REALTORS® understand that Otsego County is constantly changing. Having a strong understanding of how the community has evolved allows these REALTORS® to accept new changes and allow them to grow in a positive way. Currently, KDR is involved in several important organizations: the Michigan Association of REALTORS® (MAR), National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC), Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES), and Water Wonderland Board of REALTORS® (WWBR). |
